Blog Day

Today is Blog Day.

31/08 = 3 1 o 8 = Blog

Here's five of the many blogs that I frequently read, presented in no order whatsoever:

It's My Life, maintained by Aisha. She talks about various events in her life as well as raising interesting discussions on diverse issues.

Isheeta's dating/life experiences. She is a good writer and a Muslim chick to boot.

Abu Sinan on Muslim/Arab issues and his two kids.

Koonj, written by Shabana. An excellent read. I like the way she titles her posts.

Lightness of Being, a blog containing short stories and thoughts by Maliha.

Thanks for the mention Mezba :)

I need to do this too, I wont get a chance today but in general I do need to share who I read.

Mezba, I had a question. Why did you change the title of your blog from "Mezba" to "a bengali in TO"?Now, it is not that this title isn't unique; but I liked the old one better. Something about a change, maybe?

Oh, and, you're right; the blogging community is addictive, which reminds me that I have to get back to my college work. :(

Ah, life. (Sighs.)

Thank you so much! That is very kind. I was wondering how come I had new readers, and then someone told me it was thanks to your mention. So I guess you're mostly a blurker then?

Oh, and I'm glad you like my cheesy, punchy titles :)

Aisha: I would be definitely interested in your links section - you seem to have a diverse group of readers!

Ek Umeed: It was a temporary step towards being anonymous. Until I realized the url has my name as well.

Maliha: I loved your latest story. I should get into the habit of commenting more.

Koonj: I am a lurker ;-) I just re-read your profile, and I guess I should update this post to say Doctor Shabana?

Isheeta: If you thought last weekend was crappy weather - this weekend should take the cake. All kayaking, bbq and soccer plans stand to be cancelled. *sigh*

Isheeta, was going here. The Humber River - a not so glamorous choice as algonquin, muskoka, or wasaga :-P
