I. Am. Done.

I am done.

Wrote the final final exam of my MBA degree today. It was on Advanced Negotiations. Yes, we had a final exam for that course.

Someday, I will write about my (mostly fantastic) experience at Canada's top business school but for now, I feel ... free.

So, if you any of you are looking to hire a person capable of managing multiple complicated projects (hey, I have a wife, a career AND school!), with fantastic writing skills (but of course!), with skills AND experience (I will get you something), sophisticated and smart (not to mention - modest) ... you know how to reach me. :-)

It is indeed a good feeling when the study ends.

Geeki, I must say YOU were the inspiration for me to take this degree. When I read that you joined the school - I was like now here is someone doing something worthwhile with his time. And then on a whim I checked and found the morning slots were still open.

Muslim Girl, Thanks. I can say without reservation UofT MBA (at Rotman) is probably the best in Canada. I have met students from other schools and gotten some reviews before deciding on the school.

Suroor, thanks.

Lat, :-) haha yes.

Liya, thanks, yes, planning something. Technically though I can't claim to be a graduate until convocation though!

M&M, thanks, and yes, absolute relief and also amazement that time just seemed to fly by.

Dave, oh absolutely. I now don't feel guilty just lazing around and watching TV!

Wow Wow, Congratulations!

Ahh, I still remember that feeling- what a weight off one's head! But I remember feeling a little bit at sea too- you feel a bit lost as to what to do with your time once its all over...

Specs, Yep, once you stop being a student, life is suddenly very uncertain!

A little late, but congrats Mezba.

Welcome to the MBA club!

I found the 2 years at school in the company of some of the smartest minds in the business world, very rewarding. I interacted and learned with lawyers, doctor, engineers, even an Orchestra manager. With Asians, Russians, Hispanics and a large chunk of Indians (not the native kind).

We had groups of 6 in the first year of core courses. This is where I broke personal ground in my close interactions with a Jewish lawyer. Both of us crossed mental barriers and saw each other as human beings first, before anything else. We learned more in that interaction than many of the courses. We are still very good friends.

So much business in the real world too is about interaction, and about relationships. If one only learns that, he/she has succeeded in getting the most out of the MBA.

May Allah help you with your job search.

P.S. Muslim Girl, UT has a solid program, go for it! Rice is good as well. School pedigree is one of the key factors of MBA equating to jobs, though any decent MBA will still be personally rewarding.

Amad, thanks. We had a pretty diverse class ourselves and it was a great experience.
