Lost Cat

We have lost our beloved pet for 7 years, a black Persian cat, missing since morning Friday March 19.

She is about 7 years old, medium sized, responds to name "Mini". Mini is very friendly and domesticated, however she is a bit shy and timid, and can run away when startled.

Mini is an indoor cat, but it seems she unfortunately got out somehow; naturally we are quite distressed. Any helpful hints/information/prayers will be much appreciated.

I'm sorry to here this, she looks like a very pretty cat. I hope you find her soon. Have you put up her picture on posters around the neighbourhood? Maybe if someone found here they'll know who to alert then.

Noooooooooooooooooo!!! I'm so sorry. InshAllah you will find her. Have you called the animal shelters nearby? This is my greatest fear.

Poor baby :(

My mom's cat used to get out a lot and would always come back. Sometimes since the cat isn't used to the wild, they hide the entire time until they feel safe. I pray your cat returns :(((

Thanks everyone. Please pray we get our pet back. She's pretty much born into our household, we got her very young.

I did inform all the shelters and put up fliers, but the weather has become rainy and cold again :-(

Oh no! Oh Mezba she is so beautiful. Poor baby must be so scared herself.

Inshallah she will return to you soon. Her return is on my prayer list.

She is beautiful, Masha Allah. Cats have been known to stray off only to show up a time later. I pray she is having a wonderous adventure!

We lost our cat ones and he was very timid...we found him behind an alley where we all our garbage are dumped. So you pay want to look around alleys and small places since thats where she will feel safe. And yea definitely put up lot of posters and flyers. I hope u find your cat!

Thank you everyone for your prayers. Yesterday we found Mini outside our basement door, hiding in some shrubs. Mom went out to check the gardens and Mini did a 'meow' - oh we were so happy to see her back! She had lost a lot of weight (after all - was outside for 5-6 days) but was otherwise fine.

I think the good news warrants a new post!

Musa, was travelling lately so couldn't return to the blog.

Lat, indeed :-) she was spoiled the next few days!

Safiyyah, yup, it was amazing she came back. I thought we lost her forever.

Cairo, hey, where's your new blog?

Alhamdolillah, glad to read you found her man. Your post caused me sadness, so glad it had a happy ending.

Our family's male cat 'Friday' passed away @ age 16 a few months ago, and glad as Iam he had a long, good life...not a day goes by we don't miss him.
